Vehicle history:
This Alfa Romeo Giulia GTC was first registered in March 1966 and with the chassis number 755868 was one of the last of only 904 left-hand drive examples. This car started its restoration already in the 1980s. A separation from his wife of the then owner led to the vehicle being forgotten in a Hamburg workshop and stored for a long time as a bodyshell.
The current owner completely restored the vehicle over a period of 15 years in cooperation with the appropriate specialist companies. In the process, the sensitive areas on the underbody and sills were once again tested for stability. The Alfa Romeo was professionally refinished by a body specialist in Göttingen and prepared for painting. The body has retained its very nice lines even after the sheet metal work and is flawlessly painted. All areas are absolutely rust-free, as is the new underbody. Thus between 2001 and 2016, the car had another "birthday" due to the comprehensively executed restoration, where all parts that needed attention were either repaired or replaced. The engine, transmission, rear axle and steering were disassembled by a specialist and rebuilt with care and high expertise.
