Supplied new by Mercedes-Benz Lancaster in Hertford to Mrs Marion Berry on 5th May 1988. It remained in her ownership until we purchased it earlier this year. A genuine one lady owner car with just 32, 675 original miles.
Finished in Willow Green Metallic with Mushroom Leather trim, it has a matching hardtop and is still fitted with its original Black soft top, which is in superb condition.
This was a highly optioned car with Air Conditioning, Rear Seats, Heat Absorbing glass, Drivers Air-Bag, Outside Temperature Gauge, Headlamp Wash-Wipe, Orthopaedic Drivers Seat Adjustment and more.
Servicing was carried out by the supplying dealer, Mercedes-Benz Lancaster, until 1993 when it had done just 14730 miles. Thereafter a local specialist was used until 2002 at 25, 000 miles.
We entrusted the car to Roger Edwards Motors, noted classic Mercedes specialists, who carried out a very major service and complete check over. The air conditioning system has been overhauled, and a set of new Michelin tyres have been fitted.
It is complete with the full book pack in the original leather wallet, a complete tool kit and even has the spare wheel changing instructions in the boot. A delightful period Blaupunkt Stereo cassette is still installed and it retains the original cruise control instructions.
This remarkable car is the car we all hope to find; one lady owner with exceptionally low mileage.
