I' ve owned this car before, and its certainly one of the best i've had

The all steel car is superbly finished in Porsche Riviera Blue .

Powered by an very impressive Ford Engine with was rebuilt by DNS Enginerring in Kent with an Eagle stroker 331 kit , new roller block, new RPM Edelbrock 202 valve heads Edelbrock new Rolling Thunder camsaft , Edelbrock air gap manifold New Edelbrock 750 CFM carb tested and run in on the dyno at 535 bhp

CHASSIS.

Chassis was built by Owens engineering. Which was designed and built to an high stranded. Tubular steel and Tig welded, The tube chassis was designed with cross over door bars, with was designed for strength and driver side rollover bars and tag to 9. 5. Including 6 brackets to bolt the body to the chassis.

The Chassis was designed to take coil over independent suspension on the front, with toe in and out, adjustment camber. Finished off with steel fire wall, chassis had brackets to bolt designed engine plates between the gear box and water pump, bolted on rubber bushes.

The Owen universal steering column tube welded to the chassis with removable push button chrome steering wheel. Owens designed steering rack and TVR universal joints.

On the rear and a ladder 4 bar fitted to 9’’ inch ford axle, was rebuilt with new parts supply by Andy Robinson Race Cars. New limited slip differential is fitted. Bear shafts, Adjustable shock absorbers all painted to suit the car Porsche Rivera blue, Polished

BODY WORK

All steel panels Painted Porsche Riviera blue.
25 litre race fuel tank fitted with facet fuel pump and stainless fuel lines

INTERIOR

The light weight floor and aluminium panel work was done by Cliff Griffey, aluminium panel wheel tub. Polished aluminium side panel, Polished aluminium door panel, Polished aluminium gear box tunnel, panel, Polished automatic gear linkage and Polished chrome pedals, 2 black jazz seats bolted to chassis with has fix racing seat belts. All dial instruments are made by Ultralite fitted to steel dash. Finished of with black head lining and glass,

BRAKES

Servo fitted left hand side under the floor and front brakes are vented Ford Capri 3. 0 .
The rear, Citroen BX discs & pads.

WHEELS

Wheels rear, Rocket racing injection polished wheels 10’’ x 15’’ 5 stud ford,
Tyres 295 x 15 R Hoosier QT with tubeless tyres.
Front Rocket racing injection polished wheels 145’’ x 15’’ Firestones 5 stud ford with new suds and new chrome wheel nuts,

ENGINE

New Engine done by D&A Engines. Ford 302 GT roller engine, dipped & cleaned, Painted ford blue. Re bored plus 30 to suit Mahle, Motor sport piston and Eagle 331 Rotating assembly. Fully balance summary to1532g Bobweight .
The engine was full rebuilt with new bearing, Edelbrock rolling thunder camsaft 572’ / 582’, Edelbrock camsaft bearing and Edelbrock cam gear, new oil pump and pick up pipe, new racing sump and gaskets. Edelbrock RPM 202 heads with rolling valve rocker, Edelbrock head gaskets and new ARP head bolts, Edelbrock RPM air gap inlet manifold , Edelbrock 650 thunder series AVS carburetors, Edelbrock elite series rocker covers, show polished, Edelbrock elite series air-cleaner covers show polished, New Edelbrock hi flow water pump with polished pulley. Ford HEI Distrbutor .

GEAR BOX

C4 gear box re built with new HD Bands and right body, special prop shaft and new Saturday night torque converter connect to auto shift.

EXHAUST

Fast Road conversions Full Stainless steel header headers, with open header and link bar and exhaust system. Nice sound


The car is exceptionally well engineered and simple to drive in all conditions, it's comfortable and handles well .
Its relately easy to get in and out of and has a comfortable driving position. ( I'm 5'11" normal build and dont have to take the steering wheel off ).
