Description
We have decided to offer this Honda CB350 as a project, just have too many already in the queue waiting to be done to add another.
Your probably looking at the pictures and wondering why? Well don't let the pictures fool you, while it starts easily and runs nicely, no smoke or untoward rattles and rides well, the previous owner spent bundles on the bike but unfortunately wasted most of it by fitting silly small indicators, small head light and a dumb ass kill switch. The electrics, while all working, will need a good sort out as he has got extra wires all over the place and others that should be in the headlight shell, tucked under the new smaller headlight as they no longer fit. Seat is new but feels like concrete, poorly fitted but new pattern front mudguard and new shorty exhaust silencers which actually do sound nice, admittedly. The paint work is sub(our)standard.
Having said all that, tyres are brand new Metzelers on wheels that look to of been rebuilt. There is a new front brake master cylinder, new handle bar switch gear. The rear guard is original and in good order which is rare. So "if" you are happy with what he has done and not too worried about the paint work etc, it could with a little effort, be used pretty much as is .
If we were to do it to our normal standard, then it would be more like £4k plus but it can be bought now for £2500, cheap for a running riding, early 70s CB350.
