1979 Ford Escort Mk2 Van . RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. Now UK registered and we have the V5 here Starts runs and drives and was on the road In South Africa. Needs restored but not the worst starting point. This van is MOT and tax exempt .
Body - Mk2 Escort Van. Good solid original inner wings, strut tops, arches, doors, load area. Will need work on outer floors and sills both sides. Also on driver side the roof gutter has been trimmed back. This will need sorting. Paintwork is poor and will need redone as part of the restoration. Underbonnet has had the paint taken off the inner wings for some bizarre reason. .
Mechanics - Good 1. 3 crossflow and 4 speed box. Van starts runs and drives. Starter motor a bit lazy. Usually works but may need replaced at some point. As with any old vehicle it will need checked over mechanically. Standard running gear. Clutch and brakes work.
Interior - Very scruffy and will need redone
Wheels - Standard steels with original hubcaps..
