Description
The Toyota Celica ST182 was launched at the end of 1989 and inaugurated a new design language for the Japanese manufacturer. Its rounded, futuristic shape was not popular in the 90s, but they have aged very well. It will forever be engraved in the imagination of many, in its Castrol livery, with a Mr. Carlos Sainz at the wheel, driving through the stages of the World Rally Championship.
The 3S-GE engine of this 2. 0 GTi produces 156 HP and 186 Nm, enough power to sprint to 100 km/ h in 8. 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 220 km/ h.
Despite its sporty nature, rigid suspension and powerful engine, it is a versatile and pleasant car to drive, whether for touring, dayly driving or on a B road at a faster pace. It is equipped with air conditioning, electric windows, fog lights and a sunroof. Versatility is ensured by the liftback trunk that allows easy access to a huge boot, which does not lack a spare tire.
Bought new at a Toyota dealership in OPorto, Portugal, it has covered just over 45, 000 km, and is a true collector's item always kept in a garage and in 100% original condition. It is delivered with service books, owner's manual and second key.
