Ford Cortina Mk3 2. 5 V6 Pickup or Bakkie as they are known in South Africa. This is a genuine Ford factory built pickup which were not available here. Its extremely solid and tidy and looks to have been well looked after. All tax and duty has been paid and the NOVA declaration done. Its now fuly Uk registered. This pickup is rock solid front to back and in superb condition for its age. We have the original handbooks and service book with it.
Body - Genuine factory built pickup. Similar to our P100 pickups but we only got these from a MK5. Super solid from front to back and never been welded. Panel gaps are all good. Paint is very nice. Must be one of the best currently available
Mechanics - 2. 5 V6 Essex , 4 speed box and standard running gear. Engine is very good and nice and quiet . It drove really well on test drive today, apart from running out of fuel.... oops. Small flat spot when pulling away but otherwise revs clean. Carb may need slight adjustment due to the different climate.
Interior - Very tidy inside with bench seat, dash top has a small crack. Good door cards and headlining. Original spare wheel cover and jack bag.
Wheels - Standard steels with original chrome hubcaps and trim rings.
