This stunning 1978 Corvette is a genuine 2-tone Silver Anniversary with the two correct paint codes on the tag, the genuine article. The car is number matching throughout and has a warranted mileage of only 55, 600, yes - guaranteed 55, 600 miles from new. This C3 was hand picked Stateside in late 2010 and has had just the one CCCUK owner here in the UK for the last 13 years.
In that time the car has had the full brake system re-newed, all new calipers, all new rotors, flexi hoses, lines etc, a complete new chambered exhaust system right through, new park brake cables etc, much suspension work and above all, serviced to the hilt.
HISTORY. The car comes complete with it's original 1978 Purchase Invoice from Don Mealey Chevrolet, Florida, the Buyer being a Mr Stuart Sargant. the documentation is huge including the factory option order sheet, his Title Deed plus that of the lady he later sold it to, the original Warranty booklet, the original Owner's Manual, the alloy wheel instruction sheet, GM letters to Mr Sargent, the original GM Maintenance Schedule, Florida annual safety sheets, the original dealer wallet, the GM til/ tele instruction sheet, the list just goes on & on.
So, it appears two owners Stateside, fully documented, then one CCCUK owner in the UK for the last 13 years and a guaranteed overall mileage of only 55K ....... find another as they say.
If you view the attached photographs you will see two taken behind the kick panels. You will see the birdcage mounting points are both in the finest possible condition. This is very much a survivor car, lovely paint and I believe an all original survivor interior which still remains quite superb. The car has just had all new floor mats, wheel centre caps and lug nuts just to freshen up.
