A very special car.

Supplied new in July 2001 by Jacksons Mercedes Benz on Guernsey. Owned for the first 12 years of the cars life by a single owner, it was supplied to the second by the same supplying dealer in 2013 who was a long term Mercedes Benz Enthusiast and serial collector. The mileage at that point was 22, 600.
In the subsequent years, a mere 9000 miles have been covered.

These limited edition SL's were supplied in Alanite Green metallic with Single Tone Java Nappa leather seats on a black interior, along with a very high specification, special 18'' split rim alloy wheels, velour mats trimmed in Java leather and electric memory heated seats.

Due to the care the owners have taken with the car, it is in exceptional condition. For example, on close examination I don't believe the car has had any paintwork in the subsequent 23 years, it is  very nearly flawless...... the alloy wheels are original and unmarked, and are fitted with the correct factory specification Dunlop tyres as it left the factory.

The interior likewise, near enough as it left the factory. The car retains all its original tools, first aid kit, an unused spare tyre etc etc, it's that sort of car.
The electric roof and hood all work in accordance.

Mechanically I can't find fault, it drives beautifully. With some 9 Jacksons and 4 specialist services in 30, 000 miles, I would hope it would!

The car has its original owners pack, original service book, Guernsey paperwork, and all other necessary paperwork that is needed for UK mainland registration, which I can help with and if necessary carry out for the new owner.

Although Channel Island supplied the car is on the UK mainland, at my house in north Wiltshire, all duties have been paid, and is ready to be registered into the name of what will be the first UK mainland owner.
The car will also have a new 12 month MOT.
