Here we have a unique opportunity for serious Ford collectors and enthusiasts to purchase what must be the finest lowest mileage original example of this P100 Cortina Mk5 model left anywhere in the world. It is completely original throughout aside from service filters, fluids, battery, wheels and tyres. Amazingly it has covered just 6, 000 miles from new (10k km).

It has been recently imported from South Africa where all these P100 light commercial vehicles were manufactured at the Ford plant in Port Elizabeth. This is the 3. 0 V6 Essex engine 'Leisure' version of the pick-up which came with two-tone paint, cloth seats, veneer trimmed dash and door caps, fog lamps and uprated wheels.

It was purchased new by a Mr. Van Regensburg from Lambons Ford dealership in Bloemfontein and then mostly parked up in his garage and used only occasionally. In his later years of retirement it was just kept under a blanket in the garage until he passed away a couple of years ago.

His widow then sold the car to a chap who was an apprentice mechanic at the supplying dealership at the time it was sold new who knew all about the car. He bought it with 7400km on the clock and has put just under 3000km on it over the last couple of years going to shows and leisure drives making sure everything was serviced and in tip top working condition prior to our purchase directly from him.

The incredibly low mileage is reflected in the condition inside and out which is simply stunning, as close to new as is possible in a car of this vintage and will appeal to collectors and enthusiasts alike looking only for the best example in existence and appreciating the value in the originality and mileage that cannot be replicated. Obviously it has never been used to do any work or carry heavy loads and the load bay area is unmarked. There is a brand new unused tonneau cover still in it's plastic wrap that is with the car. The engine sounds as sweet as the day it left the dealership and the driving feel is taught and tight just like a new car on the road.

All duties and taxes paid, road tax and MOT exempt, it is now UK registered with new V5.
