This fantastic Turbo has covered only 19, 000 miles and is in very good and completely original order throughout. It features a high specification including special order full leather dual colour interior, electric sunroof, electric heated sports seats and climate control.

Having been produced in late 1986 this is a 1987 model year car, it was first supplied in November 1986 by Parks of Exeter, the official Porsche dealer in the South West, to a Mr Flood, a resident of Torpoint in Cornwall. He returned the car to Parks in February 1987 at 783 miles for the first service and sold the car shortly afterwards - no doubt tempted by the healthy premiums these cars were attracting at the time.

In March 1988 respected specialist dealer Bramley, in Surrey, purchased the car for one of their loyal customers, Howard Clark, the well-known Ryder Cup golfer based near Leeds. He retained the car for two years and used it only as a second car, hence the mileage increased to just 5, 100 during this time. The car was serviced during his ownership by JCT600 in April 1988 at 3, 800 miles, and by Ian Anthony in June 1988 at 4, 000 miles and August 1989 at 5, 000 miles.

Bramley repurchased the car from Clark at the beginning of 1990 and then sold it again on the 5th March 1990 to a Mr Stuart Hurcombe, who retained the car until 2012, when it was bought by us. During his ownership the car was used very infrequently and only in dry conditions - indeed he will admit to spending more time polishing than driving! It was stored in a warm dry garage under a dust cover. During his ownership the mileage increased to just 17, 000 miles.

Following purchase by Hairpin, the car was given a major service by Dick Lovett Porsche in Swindon, every item was attended to and all tyres replaced. They remarked on how good and original the car is, when on a ramp one can see that the underside retains the original factory wax finish, the original exhaust looks unused and even the inside of the wheels are unmarked.

We sold the car very quickly back then following our recommissioning work to an experienced collector who knew a great Turbo when he saw one. He has added just a couple of thousand miles to the odometer enjoying the Turbo lightly in fine weather only. It has continued to be maintained well, indeed it will be fully checked and serviced prior to sale.

This is a truly fabulous Turbo - it looks, drives and even smells like a new car in all respects. It comes with all keys and books in the correct wallet, all tools and an MOT certificate for each year from the first in 1989.
