History:
The vehicle was purchased by its first owner in 1990 from a VW dealership in Belgium, where the car remained, being serviced every year by a main dealership up until it was sold to its second owner in 2007 after 17 years of ownership. All the original booklets have been kept with the car since its first purchase along with the spare key.

The second owner resided in Flensburg Germany where the car was registered & passed all the necessary testing to be driven in Germany.
The car remained here for 16 years up until 2023 where it was purchased by the current owner & driven to the UK.

From 2007 onwards the car was self maintained with receipts for various servicing & maintenance parts from VW main dealers & the car in storage.

Body & Paintwork:
The Tornado red looks great & shines beautifully in the sun having just benefitted from a two stage machine polish.

All decals & badges are in great condition & the glass is all original.
The headlights are in great condition, even the fog lights which are typically prone to being in poor condition look great.
Headlights & fog lights are extremely hard parts to find in good condition.

Overall the paintwork is very good, with only a few small imperfections as you would expect & one small area at the front bonnet edge showing signs of being slightly thin.
The underside is in excellent condition as can be seen in the photos. Recently benefitting from being dry ice blasted by ourselves, within our workshops.
Wheels are also unmarked with new tires fitted.

Truly a fantastic car which looks great & is sure to stand out.

Interior & Trim:
The interior of this car is in lovely condition.

This car has the extremely sought after rare electric Recaro seats which were an optional upgrade from new.
These seats are in great condition with no tears & fully functional electrics.

As well as the electric Recaro seats, this example also benefits from having the optional VW Gamma Radio/ CD player with Aktive sound system.

All trims are in good condition as you would hope & everything operates as it should do.

Engine:
As you would fully expect, the car runs beautifully.
Starts instantly, idles perfectly & it accelerates nicely without any hesitations throughout the rev range.

Gear changes are smooth & without any crunching either when changing up or down the gearbox.

The engine bay itself presents very well, with the inner wings & chassis rails being in lovely condition.

Running Gear:
Of course the running gear is all in fantastic order.
The car drives brilliantly, nice & tight.

Having benefitted from an underside dry ice blast in our workshop, the underside look fantastic & is in original condition underneath as can be seen from the pictures.

The car remains completely unmodified.
