We are pleased to offer a super low mileage 1993 Rover Mini Sprite Automatic. Finished in gleaming factory black, which is very rare, and enhanced with a set of wider profile Superlight alloys. It has only covered fifteen thousand miles in 31 years with just one previous owner, the last since 2004. We have fully recommissioned it after a period of dry storage with a long list of new parts and lots of love and it is one of the nicest and smoothest Automatic Minis I have driven. It is accompanied with a the original handbook, service receipts and previous MOT certs. It is also fitted with a Clifford immobiliser.
On the road this Mini is great fun. The 1275 carb fed engine is near silent and super responsive and the performance will certainly surprise you. The gearbox is smooth and precise and kicks down instantly and gives that true Go-Kart feel, simply jump in, select drive and off you go. I have always been a big fan of Auto Minis as they are simple to drive very engaging. The 1275 variants have plenty of power and more than enough to keep up with modern traffic. Being such a low mileage example it also has that new car taught feel.
The interior is very well presented and in its original factory specification. The seats, door cards and roof liner are in fantastic condition. It has a CD player and this model also has rear seat belts.
This Sprite has a very solid shell with body coloured floors and arches, it has its original factory wax on the underside and the correct vented sills. The inner arches are also still wearing their original paint. The engine bay is wonderfully original and well detailed as is the boot floor. The paintwork is well presented and belies this Minis vintage. It is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
The Mini is fully serviced, checked and driven and has a long MOT and many new parts.
