This superbly presented, incredibly sharp and well detailed Mitsubishi Evo 6 has covered just 43, 000 miles from new. The Evo was supplied in July 1999 by Park Lane UK Ltd and has led a very sheltered life hence the low mileage and level of originality. We are pleased to report the Evo retains its original bill of sale from 1999 and unrepeatable original dealer rear window sticker and number plates, all signs of a what a carefully owned example this is. It also has a full detailed history with service invoices within a large comprehensive file of paperwork. It even retains its original flare dated 1999. Whilst the car hasn't been extensively modified like so many, it has had subtle upgrades that make this a very exciting proposition.
On the road this Evo is first class, its mechanically in excellent order and it has been recently mapped by Evotune to a mild 360bhp/ 360lbft. The car made a healthy 282bhp prior to being tuned (these cars were 280bhp from the factory). The spec includes a 3" Fujitsubo turbo back exhaust system with 3" decat, HKS panel filter, alloy radiator, Walbro 255l fuel pump, Evo 9 BOV. The suspension features Tein Street Z coil overs sitting the car 40mm lower than standard, brakes front and rear are standard Brembo.
The car presents very well and is as it left the factory apart from the front amber indicators (clears are with the car). The bodywork is very impressive, the paintwork of a very high standard with only a few minor blemishes as expected on a relatively original, low mileage car that's now 25 years old. The car rides on freshly re-furbished and expensive Advan RG1 17" wheels with Advan anodised blue centre caps, standard O. Z alloys are also with the car. The interior is in great condition, there are no after market gauges, everything works and it doesn't suffer from the usual bolster wear. The seats, door cards, carpets and dashboard are all in lovely order. The underside is totally solid, prone chassis legs are in excellent order and in 2020 before it was in the hands of its most recent owner the rear of the underside was treated to bare metalling and was painted in body colour. At the same time the rear control arms were replaced and poly bushed and the cambelt was also changed (39000 miles).
This is an impressive, very well presented car and is ideal for regular use. However, if looking for smart, structurally excellent low mileage example to take to show level, this would be a fantastic base to take it onto the next level. It’s outstanding to drive, clearly never been left to deteriorated having had meticulous owners who have really cared for the car. Its been with its recent owner for four years, always garaged, cherished and its never failed to impress.
