Description
This 1974 Porsche Carrera coupe was initially sold to the Prince of Bahrain, who accepted delivery at the Porsche factory in Stuttgart, Germany, and retained ownership in Europe through the late 1990s. After relocating to England and changing hands several times, the car was exported to Germany in the early 2010s, where it reportedly underwent a refurbishment. It was subsequently imported to the US, and later, awarded first in its class and in the Special Categories Division at the 2014 iteration of the Porsche Club of America Santa Barbara Region Concours d’Elegance. Finished in Copper Brown Metallic with gold Carrera graphics over tan leather-to-sample upholstery, the car is powered by a fuel-injected 2. 7L flat-six mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes 15″ Fuchs wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, Koni shocks, Recaro sport seats, power windows, and air conditioning.
