The Special cruiser model was introduced in 1978 with the Special-II arriving in 1979/ 80
In addition to the obvious pullback bars and a teardrop tank, the Special differed from the Standard with significant changes to the rear suspension
Standards used a 2. 15/ 18" rear wheel, whereas on the Specials a wide 16" rear wheel was used and shock mounts were changed to angle the shocks further off the vertical. Both changes were made to achieve a 'cruiser' styling with the resultant changes to handling
Dating from 1980, this Special-II has covered an indicated 22, 317 miles and does not appear to have been restored at any point
Fitted with a new battery and we understand is now running although will need recommissioning before road use or could form the basis of a street tracker/ Café bike
Supplied with its current V5C, some service history and older MOTs
