Introduced in 2005, the 575 Superamerica was a limited-production convertible version of the 575M, and featured a pivoting ‘Revochromic’ carbon-fibre and glass roof, which was developed in collaboration with Italian glass specialist Saint Gobain, and takes just seven seconds to convert the car from a closed ‘coupe’ to a convertible.
The ‘Revochromic’ roof also features five degrees of electrically adjustable tint.
The model was further distinguished by a carbon-fibre boot lid with a raised Ferrari shield, a concave rear screen, aluminium mesh on the front grilles, and aluminium accents around the headlights.
This 575 Superamerica is finished in Nero Daytona over a Crema leather-trimmed interior with contrasting stitching, featuring a contrasting black upper dashboard and carpets, with aluminium and carbon-fibre trim accents.
It rides on a set of 19-inch five-spoke split-rim alloy wheels with yellow centre caps, framing silver Ferrari-branded callipers, and shod in Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tyres.
The factory specification includes rear parking sensors, headlamp washers, Scuderia wing shields, a Giallo rev-counter, climate control, switchable sport mode, electrically adjustable seats with two-position driver memory, the car retains its Ferrari-branded media system with satellite navigation.
The car comes with all the owner’s manuals with a tan leather wallet, two keys with red leather Joe Macari Servicing fob pouches, a service booklet, and a complete toolkit in a tan leather pouch.
The Nero Daytona paintwork is generally in excellent condition, and the seller notes that a full Topaz paint protection film has been applied.
