It almost reads like a fairy tale, the story of Dutchman Joop Donkervoort who started his own car company in 1978 and managed to develop the Donkervoort brand into an iconic, world-famous Dutch car brand. From the beginning, Donkervoort focused on lightning-fast two-seater sports cars. From 1993, they were built in the famous D8 version, which from 1999 were equipped with 1. 8 liter turbo engines from Audi. These four-cylinder twenty-valve engines had 150 hp as standard, but Donkervoort also supplied tuned versions with 180 hp. The Donkervoort at Classic Park is such a tuned D8 with 180 hp. The Donkervoort D8 is a car that is primarily made for driving enthusiasts.
