This is a well built car that had a full photographic ground up build in 2016 .
Everything was either uprated or renewed during the restoration, to the highest standards .
The end product is a show winning, subtle Hot Rod. Offered at a fraction of the cost of when it last sold.
The car was stripped back to a bare shell , and sandblasted, all non rescuable panels were replaced with brand new ones, Sills , rear arches , door bottoms , front and rear valances were renewed.
Subtle body mods include the front wings being extended 3 inch as have the sills . The body was primed with 4-5 coats painted ready for the final top coats and laquer . The paint is still excellent today .
The body has been de handled with door poppers with an emergency entry in the boot, and all the chrome work has been painted black . The underside is very clean and finished in stonechip black for practicality .
Powered by a fully rebuilt bored +30 Ford 302 V8 with fully rebuilt early C4 automatic transmission, complete with invoices to prove.
Rear axle was replaced with a Volvo 240 unit to take the v8 power , 4 linked.
Brakes renewed and upgraded . Fronts being hispec discs and calipers and a remote servo was fitted .
Front shocks have been converted to adjustable coil overs and the rear has these too .
The interior was all brand new , door card, seats carpets and headlining. The front seats have been swapped for electric leather BMW seats, but I have the original matching bench, which is easily transferred back .
The dash is out of a 57 chevy that has been grafted into place and a full set of dakota digital gauges and sensors fitted showing just over 4000 miles since the rebuild .
Wheels are 15 inch American Vintiques artillerys with Ford Hubcaps .
Fuel cell located into the boot along with the battery , that gives the engine bay a smoothed , show standard look .
A full build record containing over 200 photos of all the work that has been carried out is included, including a thick file of receipts .
Correctly registered, Historic Tax , the car has been maintained fastidiously by the last owner.. A mechanic and engineer, and only used on dry days.
