Description
History: 1956 was the year chosen by the British motor group BMC (British Motor Corporation) to create a new economical car with a perfect size for the city following the crisis in the Suez Canal.
In 1959, the British group decided to market this small car under two separate brands: Austin and Morris. The result was a car packed with innovations such as a very compact front transverse engine, a gearbox located under the engine, highly original suspension and small 10″ wheels. It was much later in the 60s that stars such as the Beatles and Brigitte Bardot took possession of it, which made it famous, not forgetting of course its many rally victories. It's now official: the Mini was a real fashion phenomenon, and became one of the best-selling cars in the world!
Buoyed by its success and after a number of evolutions, it was in 1991 that the British manufacturer Rover decided to buy back and revitalise the concept by giving it a new 1275 cm3 engine, modernising its interior and a few exterior details and creating a brand in its own right under the name of Mini, which had only been a model up until then.
The car we're offering: Delivered new in France on 20/ 09/ 1995, this Mini Cooper had only one owner until 2022 when its current owner decided to buy it and give it a new lease of life. Of course, the file we'll give you when you buy it contains precious documents such as the original purchase order, the purchase invoice in 1995, all the manuals and maintenance booklets, but above all all all the invoices to date. However, there is a gap in the history between 2004 and 2020, when the owner was no longer able to drive this beautiful English car and decided to put it up for sale.
