This European Formula 3 (Championship winning) 1977 March-Toyota 773 is a significant piece of motorsport history, combining the engineering excellence of March Engineering with Toyota's reliable and high-revving powerplants. March was one of the dominant constructors in single-seater racing during the 1970s, and their Formula 3 cars were renowned for their innovation, balance, and race-winning potential. This particular chassis adds an extra layer of historical importance, having been campaigned by none other than future Formula 1 driver Piercarlo Ghinzani.

In the European Formula 3 championship winning season of 1977, Piercarlo beat drivers such as Nelson Piquet, Elio de Angelis and Derek Warwick. An outright winner 3 times that season (at Nurburgring, Zolder and Imola) the car gave Piercarlo a total of 9 podium appearances and was the dominant car and driver combination of the season. Professionally stored and maintained ever since, the Toyota Novamotor had its most recent rebuild in 2010 by Ellegi Motori and has only run 200 kms. since. It is presented ready to race. In immaculate condition, the car is ready to be a front runner in the HSCC F3 Championship, FIA Historic Formula 3 European Cup and F3 Historic.
