Hello, L'atelier des 1000 is pleased to offer for sale this beautiful Lancia Fulvia 1. 3S Rallye Serie 1 in a typically Italian configuration with its Rosso Corsa colour and beige cloth interior. Winner of the Monte Carlo Rally in 72, this little Italian car has made a name for itself in competition and among the general public.
Light and agile, this car is equipped with an atypical engine, a 4-cylinder 45° V-twin developing 90hp whose sound is recognisable among thousands, all coupled with a transmission on the front wheels which gives it great stability and precise positioning in bends. The model we are presenting to you is a 1969 vintage but was registered on 27/ 07/ 1970, it will have known only 4 owners and is of French origin. This is the first version to be fitted with the 1300 cm3 engine, although it still retains the 4-speed gearbox of the early 1200s. The vehicle took part in around twenty historic rallies between 1995 and 2019. Mechanically, the car is in good health, with the engine starting without noise or smoke and delivering its full power. The muffler was replaced for the sale and an overall check was carried out.
The running gear underwent some work a few years ago, including the replacement of the 4 Dunlop brake calipers, the steering and suspension ball joints and the universal joint bellows. The chassis as a whole behaves very well, the steering is precise, the suspension efficient and the braking is perfectly balanced.
The underpinnings are sound and free from perforating corrosion, and the paintwork looks good. Note that the front bonnet is made of aluminium, and the chrome is sparkling. We have the front bumper, which was removed to make way for the long CIBIE spans. The interior is period and looks good, the headliner is in good condition and the dashboard is not cracked.
All the carpets have been replaced with velvet ones, trimmed in leather and embroidered with the Fulvia emblem. The woodwork on the dashboard and steering wheel has a slight patina that we particularly like, and the Veglia instrumentation is in good working order. Delivery possible in Europe.
