This Lancia Delta 1600 HF Turbo is unique in several ways. Not only because it is a model of the first generation Delta, but especially because of its special version, the 1600 HF Turbo. The design comes from the grand master Giorgetto Giugiaro and the model was produced from 1979 to 1994. The Lancia Delta (version Tipo 831) was available as a five-door hatchback with various engines, including this 1585 cc turbo engine. This is the facelifted version (from 1986) with the 180 degree rotated cylinder head and the exhaust manifold at the front (for better cooling).
This Delta 1600 HF Turbo, originally delivered in Spain, is also special because of its unique low mileage. The car has been very carefully and lovingly maintained, which is not only evident from the car itself, but also from the neatly maintained and stamped inspection record. The car has been in the Netherlands since 2023 and is in exceptionally good condition.
The beautiful deep black body color has a stylish shine and fits perfectly on this beautiful Italian hatchback. Apart from a few minimal traces of use, the paintwork is in exceptionally good condition. The various rubbers and seals are also in very good condition. The doors and body parts fit very well. The beautiful 14” Cromodora alloy wheels (original Lancia) are in very good condition and are a perfect match with the deep black body color.
The interior is in exceptionally new condition. The beautiful sports seats are not only beautiful to look at, but also very nice to sit in. The gray leather seats with matching fabric finish are in absolute new condition. The dashboard is also in very good condition and all instruments work properly. The car is also equipped with an original sliding roof, which makes this car extra interesting. The headlining is also still in very good condition.
It is clearly visible that the car has been maintained with a lot of love and care. The car is in technically good condition and the 1600 HF Turbo engine runs very nicely and quietly. The car drives wonderfully and shifts very smoothly. This Lancia Delta steers wonderfully and directly and the brakes feel firm and solid. Without a doubt, this is a very nice driver's car and, thanks to the design, an iconic classic car!
