The odometer reads 53, 943 kilometres, and the car is in very good original condition, showing only light traces of previous use and age. It has just been serviced (including the air‑conditioning) and fitted with a new interior headlining. The 1995 Lancia Delta GT i. e. 2. 0 16V is an exceptionally rare and special model, positioned just below the turbocharged HF, of which far more examples were produced. The GT represents one of the very last naturally aspirated, sixteen‑valve, two‑litre versions of the second‑generation Delta. A range otherwise dominated by smaller engines and already mentioned HF variants. Sitting above the 1. 6 (103 hp) and 1. 8 (113 hp) versions, the 2. 0 GT offered more power (139 hp), sharper performance and a higher‑spec trim, making it the most balanced of all models, including the turbocharged HF (187 hp), which also featured front‑wheel drive only. The HF badge you see on the grille was added by the first owner and is not original to this model. The Lancia Delta GT i. e. 2. 0 16V is the rarest car of the series and arguably the most harmonious in character. Exact production figures are not known but based on open sources we estimate that fewer than 1, 000 examples were built. On the market today, you will find one GT for every ten second‑series Delta HF models of which 1, 400–2, 800 were built. This Delta GT is a Lancia enthusiasts and collector’s gem; Try finding another one.
