*** SOLD DEPOSIT TAKEN*** Lotus Elan S4 DHC 1970 correct factory drop head Elan (Type 45) in Lotus Yellow. The car has just been in storage for 15-20 years, now ready for complete restoration. The vehicle does bear the correct Lotus factory chassis plate and complete with engine. The engine has the ‘D’ type cams (Big Valve). The engine is partly dismantled, the bottom end turns and the cylinder head is in good condition. The rest of the car and components are serviceable including the chassis. Has noted the car is partly dismantled and very importantly has present all the rare Lotus parts, I. e. crash pad, instruments, switches, hood frames, seats, knock-on steel wheels etc. The sill frames are in extremely good condition. Other components and ancillaries are shown in the pictures. There is evidence this is a Special Equipment Car
