This very late production example was first registered on 18th April 1980, ordered & supplied through Lex Mead Manchester to a local firm, J. L. Owen Ltd at a staggering cost of £34, 000! Registered then to the very exclusive cherished number 'N 20'.
She was factory optioned in the beautiful Moorland Green metallic (9510370) with the sumptuous cabin fitted with Beige Connolly hides. Overall, the upholstery / hide are in excellent & original condition throughout. Still featuring the factory fitted passenger door mirror & Blaupunkt stereo system. Accompanying this T2 is a history file including the full build & construction records from the RREC
This 'V' registered example has come to us from a private collector who has now lost his vehicle storage. Purchased in 2009 & was subsequently stored away ever since. Presenting well with only natural blemishes commensurate with age, most importantly the underside is exceptionally solid & rot free. New Avon Turbosteel tyres were fitted whilst in storage. Personally, we would carry out a full detailing & recommission only - far too many T Series / T2's are now "over restored" ... enjoy them daily, not hiding away under fluffy covers!
Mechanically, the engine starts with ease, runs & sounds lovely. A very smooth & quiet engine although it will require recommissioning before road use as a sensible precaution.
A wonderful survivor, ripe for recommissioning. Historic road tax & ULEZ exempt.
