The oldest 911 at GT-Butler! One of the most iconic cars in the world, the 901 was a pure revolution, with its 130bhp, two-litre, rear overhung flat-six engine. A sports coupé that made its debut in 1964 as the Porsche 901, before the name was quickly dropped because of .... Peugeot. As the name with the '0' in the middle was registered by the French marque, Porsche resolved the conflict by replacing the 0 with a 1, and the 911 was born. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The model we are offering is a 911 2. 0L 'Short Wheel Base' from 1967. The vehicle was completely restored between 2016 and 2018 at a cost of over €70, 000, with invoices to prove it. Equipped with the "S" engine developing 160 bhp, it is in concours condition, with a clear history, full restoration file and expert appraisal. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ CONFIGURATION This 911 was delivered new in 1967, in an elegant and refined configuration. The car is 'colour matched' in its original Burgundy Red, and 'interior matched' with black leatherette upholstery and the iconic Pépita fabric. It is equipped with the 911S's 2. 0L flat 6 delivering 160 bhp, combined with an original 5-speed reverse gearbox.
Our model has a number of period options, such as leather headrests, superb 15-inch wheels with central chrome bezels and front fog lights. MAINTENANCE The vehicle was fully restored from 2016 to 2018. A superb job, carried out to the highest standards by Survirage garage, Porsche specialists in the Yvelines, including in particular:

Lastly, this 911 has just undergone a full service for sale, including a re-tuning of the carburettor and replacement of all 4 tyres (Dunlop). CONDITION Since its restoration, the car has been driven very little, which has enabled it to retain its incredible state of presentation. The bodywork is shiny and flawless. The rims, which were replaced by new ones during the restoration, are also in perfect condition. The interior is in new condition, having been completely redone during the vehicle's restoration. The original central rear-view mirror, the only part kept in original condition during the restoration, shows defects and traces of corrosion. Our 911 was appraised in 2018, after the restoration, estimating its value at €200, 000 at the time and not showing any after-effects of damage or signs of oxidation, after examination of the underbody.
