This 1995 model benefited from the improvements brought about by the Ford-initiated facelift, most notably the V12 engine, which grew to 6 litres and produced over 300 bhp, offering a driving experience that was both luxurious and high-performance. Launched in 1975, the XJS succeeded the legendary E-Type, but with a more comfort- and refinement-oriented approach. The model we are presenting is of American origin, with French registration, and has been in France since 2011. Mechanical condition: The vehicle starts up very satisfactorily at the first turn of the key. The V12 is true to its reputation, discreet and torquey. In excellent mechanical condition, the car is sound and drives perfectly, with the automatic gearbox shifting smoothly and seamlessly.
