This 1973 version, one of the last before production ceased, benefits from end-of-series adjustments: redesigned fascias, enlarged lights, modernised interior... while retaining the simple and endearing mechanical character of the Cox's 4-cylinder engine! ++++++++++++++++++ The model we are offering is a 1973 VW Karmann Ghia Type 14, of Belgian origin. The vehicle is in exceptional condition and has a detailed and comprehensive restoration file. ++++++++++++++++++ CONFIGURATION This Karmann was delivered new in Belgium in March 1973. It is presented in a superb cherry red combination, with a red & grey biton leatherette interior. New chrome and Fuchs Porsche wheels add a touch of sportiness. Inside, there are some welcome modifications, such as a modern sound/ radio system in a period look, dash-mounted meters and a superb Flat 4 GT SpeedWheel. The car has been fitted with an 1835cc engine, delivering almost 70bhp, for a smoother and more dynamic driving experience. MAINTENANCE The car was completely restored between 2006 and 2012. A superb job, carried out by its previous owner, a coachbuilder by trade.
