First registered in November 2005, this Mk3 Tuscan S is one of just a handful of convertible examples produced and was the ultimate development of the model built shortly before the closure of the TVR factory in 2006.
Hugely exciting and entertaining to drive, the final production run of Tuscan’s differed vastly from their predecessors with improvements made not only to the geometry, handling and suspension but also in the attention to detail of fitment and finish. With its naturally aspirated 4. 0 Ltr. Speed Six engine producing 390bhp and weighing in at just 1, 100Kg, the Tuscan S provides genuine super car performance with 0-60 times achieved in just 3. 7 seconds. While most Tuscans were offered with a removable Targa roof panel, this rare and fully convertible Tuscan S features a folding soft-top and the most powerful version of TVR’s hand built six-cylinder engines.
Finished in immaculate Montreal Blue pearlescent paintwork with Prussian Blue and Magnolia leather interior with Navy blue carpets and Navy Blue mohair convertible hood, specified options from new include Air Conditioning and a DAB radio with uprated speakers.
This rare, one-owner example was ordered and owned from new by the chairman of one of the largest TVR Dealerships at the time and has formed part of an impressive private collection for the past twenty years.
Having been meticulously and regularly serviced and maintained, a number of significant and costly upgrades have been added which include a fully uprated ‘FFF’ Speed Six engine by Racing Green TVR, Quaife differential, Syvecs ECU and ventilated brake discs with AP calipers and pads.
