Supplied new to one Mr Frantisek Morawitz of Upice Czech Republic in 1931. The future ownership is fully documented passing though 7 other owners up to the present where it has returned to Prague after being many years in Switzerland. The car when discovered in dilapidated condition was at first attributed to Czech Body Builder sodomka; Later research however corrected this because the body was in fact built by Petara of Vrchlabi. It takes the fomr of a well propotioned & rakish 2 seat cabriolet with dicky seat to the rear. Twin spare wheels are mounted to the rear of the car.
This car received a massive restoration in the late 1970's in Switzerland for which there are a detailed set of picture on file. The engine was disassmbled into its component parts, the indiviual parts weighed & matched to ensure ultra smooth running. The Histoy file shows the extensvie rebuild where just about anything that could be done to the car's engine was done to the car. Indeed the engine bay is possibly the best bit about the car with 16 spark plugs from the dual ignition system.
The car is finished in two tone blue with the paint being in very good order thoughout. The interior is black leather again in very good order as is the mohair roof that easily erects or lowers with one person. 13, 335 KMs have been covered in a trouble free manner since restoration.
The car is located in a small high end collection near Prague were it may be viewed by appointment.
