Description
1937 Bugatti Type 57C Chassis Number 57529 with roadster coachwork attributed to the Parisian coach builder Van Vooren. This beautiful Bugatti epitomises the flamboyant automotive styling of the 1930's. It is not only a beautiful motorcar, it is a work of art that is a joy to behold. Meticulously restored from 2004 to 2006 to show condition and taking the American concours show circuit by storm between 2006 - 2012 winning three 'Best of Show' and numerous other awards. The elegant flowing lines of the coachwork is finished in a delightful deep burgundy which accentuates the chrome embellishments wonderfully. The interior is finished in tan leather and has deep burgundy carpets. The canvas hood disappears completely into the coachwork thus not interrupting the graceful line of the car. To this day this Type 57C remains in excellent condition and is a show stopper where ever she goes ! Recently serviced and gone through by marque specialist Ivan Dutton and currently registered in France.
