The engine starts from a standing start and idles smoothly. Once warmed up, the engine revs normally. The gearbox engages the 4 gears without a hitch, particularly the synchros, and the clutch grip is good.
As is often the case with older models, the engine/ gearbox/ axle seal remains average. Chassis: Our test drive confirmed that the body was sound, with no visible signs of impact or corrosion, as the photos show. During our road test we found nothing abnormal regarding the handling of this MG B. The braking is balanced and biting.
