Rarely do we see our favourite JDM car which has been through a most amazing transformation like this one has. Either that or it's brand new!
Between 2018 and 2022, the owner invested £20, 000 in creating what we believe is possibly the best presented Impreza that drives and performs as well as it looks – if it was darker in colour, you’d think it is a P25. Incredibly this £20, 000 expenditure was for parts only and did not include the extensive labour hours, or the cost of the ‘best’ in class paintwork.

This was not a get rich quick job, more a case of the ultimate challenge to create the ultimate Impreza regardless of cost.
I personally have driven this Type R hard for some distance and she is an absolute belter. Doesn’t miss a beat and pulls like new all the way through the gears to the redline. Serious works have been carried out to this car, but specification originality remains which I really like. Even down to the correct Version V Limited decals on the body panels and the engine power seemingly standard. There is no AC fitted, and carbon has been applied to the dash areas. Speedometer has been converted.
That said, the JDM experts may have noticed this example sports the beautiful Impreza 22B BBS wheels, the Version 6 front spoiler lip and the later cars aluminium pedals for that extra driving feel. The top centre glove box has been fitted with the CaMoo pressure and temperature dials fitted to a better standard than we usually see when carried out in Japan.
This car was imported in 2009 so has spent 15 years in the UK. We have little paperwork other than MOTs supporting the vehicles mileage and the invoices for all the purchased parts. It appears to have had periods of SORN between MOT’s.
