This original right-hand drive 1965 Austin Healey 3000 MkIII is an ideal project car offered for sale to be restored by Rawles Motorsport in your desired colours and specification. The car has been off the road since the 1970s and requires full restoration.
Built on 14-15th April 1965 and despatched from Austin’s Abingdon factory on 22nd April 1965, this 3000 MkIII was delivered new to H. A. Saunders of Finchley, England and first registered on 5th May 1965 with options of overdrive, wire wheels, a heater, adjustable steering column and a tonneau cover. As a BJ8 ‘Phase II’ model this Healey features all mechanical refinements fitted to the late MkIII Healey including a 150BHP engine, increased ground clearance, wind up windows and a wrap-around windscreen, the desirable pram-style hood, De-Luxe interior and bigger front brakes.
