1964 C2 CORVETTE

This stunning '64 C2 is finished in it's original Code 912 Silver Blue. It was brought to the UK by it's only owner here who had now parted company. The car is a 4-speed manual with a brand new disc brake conversion. The car is still mot'd until later in the year and I'm sure would pass another one tomorrow.
The whole car is just lovely, with superb paintwork, a brand new soft-top that fits perfectly, all recent chrome plus all emblems, mirrors, door handles etc. Even brand new lower rocker mouldings (£1630). The Torque Thrust D wheels are brand new as is most of the exhaust. Both headlights lift and lower on request.
I believe the engine suffix is CMR which points to a '78 Corvette 220 horse L82. Recent additions include Headman Headers, a chromed inlet manifold with a brand new Holley Street Warrior, even a finned aluminium sump. The engine also sports full MSD ignition, chromed m'cylinder, pulleys, fuel pump etc plus a nice period set of Mickey Thompson valve covers.
Other recent work includes new shocks all round, new front grooved rotors, hoses & stainless calipers. New inner & outer wheel bearings on all four corners, new rear brakes including cylinders and parking, new brake lines throughout, recent weather-seals and that includes the soft-top frame seals, it just goes on & on.
The interior is quite superb, and I would hazard a guess that most is original, remaining just lovely as I hope the pictures show. All instruments work and that even includes the clock. The stainless windshield brightwork has been machine polished and the screen itself is unmarked.
The car is a first time starter and presents very well. There are several C2's advertised in the mid forties at this time, do not confuse this car with them, this C2 can stand alongside most you will view at £60, 000 plus. Now check the price ..........
