This Borgward Isabella Coupé TS, registered in 1961, was one of the last models produced, just before the German carmaker went bankrupt. It is equipped with the more powerful 75 bhp TS engine. Its elegant lines are exceptionally stylish and its many specific details give this coupé a unique character. The long bonnet, the elegant line of the rear wings, the shape of the rear lights and the front indicators make this Borgward Isabella even more special. What's more, the cream-coloured bodywork is an elegant and stylish shade that perfectly complements the red/ cream interior. The bodywork is still in excellent condition. Restored some time ago, it is still in very good condition. The bodywork has an intense shine, and the various chromes and trims are still in excellent condition. The same is true of the rubber parts and trim. The body panels fit together perfectly and the doors open and close smoothly and securely. The elegant Isabella logo at the front is clearly visible and makes for a superb sight, while the interior is still in excellent condition. The magnificent red/ cream leatherette seats are still in perfect condition and offer exceptional comfort. The ivory steering wheel completes the picture and is also in good condition. It's obvious that this car has been maintained with a great deal of love and care. The 1, 493cc petrol engine develops 75bhp (the most powerful TS model) and runs exceptionally smoothly and quietly.
