Due to retirement from rallying, after a decade of fierce competition, this fully prepared 1966 Mk1 Mini Category 1 rally car is now looking for its next custodian.
For the last 10 years it has been a regular in the Mini Cup and Category 1 Stage Championships, achieving numerous class and category wins. Most notably, in 2021 at the Isle of Man Manx Rally, it claimed 2nd in class and 1st Mini — a testament to its speed, preparation, and heart.
Under the bonnet lies a freshly rebuilt all-steel 1340cc engine on split 45 Webers, now equipped with a new EN40B steel crankshaft and oil pump. The gearbox is a 4-speed synchro straight-cut with LSD, also recently overhauled. Dyno tested at 110BHP at the wheels (137BHP output), it delivers thrilling torque and a pure motorsport soundtrack.
This car is eligible for stage rallies, targa and road rallies, hill climbs, and sprints — a truly versatile competition machine.
