** The Mercedes C140** is a special car. At its presentation it was already described as the best car in the world and, unfortunately for Germany for a long time, was misinterpreted. The size and presence were imposing, the stance confident. Such a thing easily breeds envy; overseas this wasn't a problem, it was respected and admired there. The chassis of the 140 range was still used for the forthcoming Maybach series after its retirement. The driving experience in a C140 is also unique and incomparable to any other Mercedes......... It is a vehicle from the last series with all model-year refinements. It already features the newer 5-speed gearbox, the modernised climate control, improved wiring looms and much more. The very last CLs were the most reliable and are today among the most sought-after. Unfortunately many have been exported or cannibalised, so truly good examples are now very rare. One such example we have here, it is second-hand. (Both owners were collectors who maintained the vehicle in proper condition.) The CL Coupe is accident-free, with no damages or repairs, and was just brought to a high gloss finish by our detailer and received a Swissoyl sealant. The paint is a special colour and pairs superbly with the dark blue leather. Recently the car has undergone extensive maintenance, a list of works is provided below, over €32, 000 has been invested. It is now as good as a one-year-old car and is once again ready for its next owner. If you want to own the best-made Mercedes, there is probably no alternative to the C140.
