Launched in 2003, the Porsche 996 GT3 RS was the first 911 GT3 RS to hit the market. This was an even more track-focused version of the already high-performance 911 GT3, designed to be lighter and more agile with enhanced aerodynamics and components like carbon brakes and a polycarbonate rear window, though only about 682 were built in total.
