This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Motorcycle Sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2025 on Sunday the 9th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT.
First produced in 1994 the speed triple (T300) was powered by an 885cc water-cooled triple and was essentially an unfaired version of the Daytona 900 sports bike
In 1997, a production run of 150 units were built using the 749cc Euro-spec engine from the Daytona built more to clear old stock than to create a smaller capacity market.
It offered 89bhp with a 6-speed gearbox in a lightweight (209kg) standard steel-tube backbone frame that used the engine as a stressed member
The low production numbers mean that these are now very rare and collectible
This example has covered an indicated 15, 773 miles and is in original unrestored condition
