Jaguar XK150 FHC 3. 4 Litre

The Jaguar XK series, first introduced in 1948 with the XK120, quickly became an icon of British sports car history. While the XK120 and XK140 were already praised for their performance and design, the XK150 – launched in 1957 – marked the ultimate evolution of the concept. Wider, more comfortable, and technically advanced, it was regarded as the most refined and versatile of the XK line. The Fixed Head Coupé combined the charm of a classic Gran Turismo with the solid road manners and power of Jaguar’s renowned 3. 4-litre straight-six engine.

The example offered here was first delivered in 1960 and has enjoyed an impressive life ever since. It was cherished by the same owner for over three decades, who ensured meticulous care before entrusting a comprehensive restoration to a renowned Dutch “old school” Jaguar specialist. Both bodywork and mechanics were extensively restored and rebuilt, resulting in an XK presented in a tidy and well-cared-for condition.

The accompanying documentation is truly extensive: from the very first V5 registration document dating back to 1960 through to the most recent restoration photos from 2024. Finished in stylish Carmen Red, this XK150 stands as a fine “drivers condition” example – offering that ideal balance of authenticity and driving pleasure sought after by true enthusiasts.
