With just three owners from new, and with only 26400 recorded miles, P514 FPM was originally sold to a Mr Cooke of Arundel by the Surrey-based dealership, Bell & Colvill. In year 2000 it was sold to a Mr Brooks in Formby, Merseyside and, finally, to a Mr Smith in August 2022.
As noted above, Mr Brooks was to keep the vehicle for twenty-two years although it did enter in to a period of inactivity between 2007 and 2020 before emerging to a full recommissioning, including a change of timing belt and new brake pads all round.
Due to being carefully stored for some thirteen years, the red paintwork has, pleasingly, aged at a much slower rate than most cars and retains a high and even lustre across all surfaces. The seats, similarly, remain in an outstanding condition with no discernible wear.
