1995 MG RV8 – Woodcote Green
We are delighted to present this beautifully maintained MG RV8, finished in the ever-popular Woodcote Green. Manufactured on 1st May 1995, this example comes with a comprehensive history file that reflects the meticulous care and attention it has received throughout its life.
This car has benefited from a number of desirable upgrades, including an EZ electric power steering conversion by an MG specialist, a new steering rack, a refurbished rear axle, and a replacement windscreen with frame. The MG RV8 was launched at the 1992 British International Motor Show under the slogan “The Marque Has Returned,” marking a proud revival of MG’s heritage. Limited to just 2, 000 units, the RV8 was particularly successful in Japan, which accounted for around 75% of total production.
Built on a British Motor Heritage MGB body shell with reimagined wings and styling, the RV8 is powered by a 3. 9-litre V8 producing 190PS and 320Nm of torque. Performance is impressive, with 0–60mph dispatched in just 5. 9 seconds—delivering an ideal balance of classic charm and modern capability.
On the road, the RV8 offers two distinct personalities. At motorway speeds, it cruises comfortably at just 2, 500rpm, with luxurious leather trim, and the radio creating a refined touring experience.
