This Mercedes-Benz 190 SL left the factory in 1960 wearing a Schwarz finish. Designated for the Swiss market, the car was first registered on 28 July 1960. While the complete history is not known, it is believed that this example remained in Switzerland for most of its life.
Under the care of the previous owner, this 190 SL was the subject of a bare-metal restoration in 2017 in the hands of the experts at Crescia SA, a Swiss restoration shop known for its high-quality work. Numerous photographs and invoices on file depict the many hours that went into the ground-up rebuild. The work included repainting the bodywork in the stunning colour of Light Green Metallic, which is complemented by a dark green convertible roof and a two-tone green interior. For the colder months of the year this 190 SL is equipped with an extremely rare factory hardtop, which features a sunroof.
Owned by the vendor for the last eight years, this 190 SL presents a wonderful opportunity to acquire a beautifully restored example of the glamorous Mercedes-Benz roadster.
