We are very pleased to offer a very sexy 2000 Rover Mini Cooper finished in rare metallic Anthracite grey and enhanced with a set of deep dish Revolution wheels. This is a rare Mini being built in the last few months of Mini production and originally destined for the Japanese market but was never exported. This example has covered only 76k in 25 years and is accompanied with a comprehensive service history folder dating right back to day one and a fully stamped up service book and both sets of keys. In 2019 it received a body restoration with the pics available and it has remained in this fantastic condition ever since.
Out on the open road this Cooper drives very well indeed. The 1275 fuel injected engine is responsive and revs freely and the gearbox is precise and taught. This Mini is fuel injected so all you need to do is simply turn the key and go. Performance is brisk and handling from the wider Falken tyres is fantastic. This model also has servo operated disc brakes and rear seat belts.
As you can see from the images this Cooper has a full black leather interior and a full length Walnut dashboard. As it was originally intended for the Japanese market it also has fully functioning Air conditioning which is quite a novel addition for a Mini and it works well. It also has a Drivers Airbag and side impact beams. It also has a Bluetooth stereo and 12 volt socket.
This Cooper has a solid shell with its original vented sills, solid floors and boot floor. The subframes are also both solid. The paintwork is absolutely gleaming and it has a wonderful metallic gleam in the sun. Its a rare colour for a Mini and it really suits the shape and with the wheels it has an understated look.
We have fully serviced, checked and driven this Mini and it has a long MOT and is ready to go and be enjoyed. Its one of the last off the production line and quite rare.
