This 1961 MGA DeLuxe MK2 is the reference for MGA’s. It has been thoroughly documented in Anders Ditlev Clausager’s book “original MGA in a lot of pictures
The MGA has had two owners. First owner bought it new in 1961 and sold it to the present owner in 1976 with only 5. 500 km on the speedometer. It had NEVER been out in the rain.
Second and present owner bought the MGA when he was very young and have kept it ever since, only used it sparingly. Is has been garaged very nicely over the years
The MGA is a very rare DeLuxe model only build in 22 examples (LHD export) . This means: all Wheel Disk Brakes model". This was in fact a complete Twin Cam chassis, with the knockoff steel wheels, Dunlop four wheel disk brakes, and separate master cylinders.

This MGA is in a condition you rarely find. Being a Deluxe model makes it even rarer. It is fantastic to be able to see the original dealer sticker still on the car. Also the Danish MG importers metal sticker is still on the car.
Having driven this rare car I can report that it feels exactly like a 27. 000 km car. Gearbox feels new. Clutch is soft and nice. The MGA is a pleasure to drive.
It is being sold on behalf of the owner including all the original literature like the maintenance book, sales contract etc. An extra set of Dunlop aluminium rims and also including the original Dunlop steel rims.
