This Saab 96 Special “Limited Edition” was sold new in the Netherlands.
This limited edition was launched to commemorate Saab’s 25 years of import into the Netherlands (1954-1979). Only 150 units of this 96 Special model were produced.
Each car has a plaque on the dashboard; it bears the number 36.
This Saab 96 is in exceptional condition and remarkably well preserved!
The bodywork and paint are in excellent condition, and the original interior, very well preserved, shows only light signs of wear.
The engine bay is clean and meticulously maintained in every detail.
The original Saab alloy wheels, nicknamed the “football balloon”, have been beautifully restored.
The 68 hp Ford V4 engine runs perfectly, the four-speed manual transmission with steering-wheel control is precise, and the car offers outstanding driving! This is a rare and sought-after example!
