This 109-inch Land Rover is a true survivor. A tough 67-year-old that proves why 75% of Land Rovers ever built are still running.
It still carries its original engine, interior, paint, truck cab and longer pickup load bed.
Vehicle Story
Originally sold by the Broadway Parking & Petrol Station in Dunedin, & spent its life on a remote sheep station in New Zealand before being imported to the UK. Still running its original 1997cc four-cylinder petrol engine, the engine bay remains in honest, highly original condition. It wears its 67 years of patina, but it remains solid thanks to years of careful dry storage.
Vehicle Overview
The bodywork is in excellent shape, with two lockable storage boxes in the load bay.
A new spare will be required, but the bonnet mounting fittings are still in place. The no-frills cab remains completely original, with a standard era dashboard, Jaeger gauges, and a period-correct three-spoke banjo steering wheel. The three spade seats are also in good condition. Worn in all the right places, this 109-inch Land Rover Series I is the definition of a rugged original.
