Just 225 Isleros were ever made. A mere 100 of these being desirable later Islero S cars. The successor to the 400 GT this car boasts increased power especially in the S model.
The Islero also wears Miura wheels. An air outlet on the front fender distinguished the S from the first series but it was not the only difference. The hood air intake was also enlarged and a flange on the wheel arches emphasized the design of the car's fenders.
The finish was neat. The car's handling was even better thanks to a new rear suspension.
Arriving in 1969, the Islero S upped power to an impressive 355 horsepower.
This beautiful Islero S drives astonishingly well, guaranteed to provide a lot of family fun with its four seater configuration. The Islero is a great GT car well equipped to cover long distances comfortably.
This Islero S has an extensive history and has recently been completely restored. The car was also sprayed back to its original color (Verde Rio Metallizzato). The entire car was looked through from top to bottom whilst the restoration to the body was being done. Restoration work totaling to 300, 000 euros.
